PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Wildlife Technician is responsible for providing on-site pest management and wildlife management services to customers. This includes performing thorough initial inspections of customer property, presenting detailed reports to the customer of the findings, providing repair and exclusion recommendations and performing the approved work, and general wildlife management services (such as baiting and trapping). The applicant should be mission, task, and career oriented and motivated by providing highly valued service to the customer, as well as by an aggressive performance-based compensation package.

QUALIFICATIONS IN DETAIL:
Education / Experience:
College degree in biological sciences preferred, but no less than a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) will be considered. Persons with an outdoor, farm, ranch, or construction knowledge is a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license + clean driving record with no moving violations or DUI’s. Must be capable of passing the Nuisance Wildlife Control licensing examination, and the Wildlife Certification Examination.
Regular travel by company truck within the metro Atlanta, Ga and suburbs.
The applicant must be able to use an extension ladder (24′- 40′), construction hand tools such as cordless drills, hand and electric saws, hammer, tin snips, hand seamer, stapler, screw drivers, and pliers.
Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, manuals, government regulations, and reports. Ability to legibly write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to information from managers, coworkers, and customers.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, rations, percentages, and to create and interpret graphs and charts.
Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual requires basic knowledge of computers including office workstations and tablets, the ability to use a cell phone, email, fax machine, and Microsoft Office software.
